Privacy

This plain-language notice describes how Activity Accounts currently handles calculator activity, comments, browser preferences, analytics, advertising, and basic server records.

Last reviewed: July 2026

Calculator and reader activity

Calculator inputs are generally processed in the visitor's browser to produce an immediate result. Activity Accounts does not sell calculator input data.

Some features, including reader preferences, may use browser local storage so a setting can persist on the same device. Browser controls can be used to clear locally stored preferences.

Analytics, advertising, and hosting

Activity Accounts uses Cloudflare services and Google advertising or consent services. Those providers, along with the web host, may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device details, requested pages, timestamps, cookies, consent choices, and security or performance signals.

The exact information processed by third-party services can depend on browser settings, consent choices, location, and the services active on a page.

Activity Accounts may also record first-party anonymous aggregate counts for calculator page views, completed calculations, related-tool clicks, and searches. This measurement stores daily totals and, only when a search passes a privacy filter, a normalized search phrase. It does not persist calculator inputs, results, IP addresses, user agents, referrers, session identifiers, or other personal identifiers.

Comments

Comments are submitted to the Activity Accounts server, checked by anti-spam and rate-limiting controls, and held for moderation. Visitors should not include passwords, financial account details, private addresses, medical information, or other sensitive personal information in comments.

Scope of this notice

This notice describes current site behavior in practical terms. It is not a promise that no technical information is ever processed, and it is not presented as attorney-reviewed legal advice. The notice may be updated as site features or service providers change.
